她就是以一首《Those Were The Days》而一舉成名的 Mary Hopkin。

Mary 有著一頭迷人的金色長髮，但無論以當時還是現在的美學觀念，她都算不上是一位美女。
而且，她的嗓音條件在民謠女歌手裡面也並不算是非常的出眾。
她的歌喉比不上 John Baez 如女神一樣神聖，也不如 Judy Collins 如天使一樣的空靈。
Mary Hopkin 的嗓子僅僅是非常的親切，親切的猶如你的鄰家女孩兒一樣。

她究竟有什麼好，我真的說不清楚，我只知道我非常非常的喜歡她的歌聲 .......
