---Alone on a Mountain Trail
At altitude 8,000 feet
As the sun positions itself
right above head
The world suddenly
becomes quite large
An emptiness expands itself
both physically and mentally
The trail leads, eventually, to
an alpine lake that rests
gracefully under a peak
that has snow patches
in the middle of summer
Loneliness is no longer abstract
It is so pronounced
that one can see clearly
how life in this world must travel
through immense space and time
to reach the other end

One might feel lonely along the way. But once there, the lake embraces it all. --- |
I use alpine lakes as my excuses to become lost in the mountains.  --- |
It looks a bit bleak. I wouldn't want to be there.  However, I do admire people who can stand such loneliness and get lost in such deep thoughts...  ---陶醉于音乐里的臭美妞杭嘉湖 问候你哦   |
