此曲取自动画片Anastasia--Anastasia 是俄国末代沙皇的女儿，片中她逃过了十月革命后对皇族的杀戮。此曲自然有‘故国不堪回首’的哀愁。

历史上，Anastasia 是和她家人一起被处决的。
